At HEPER, we embrace a culture of continuous improvement to enhance efficiency in our operational processes and use our resources more effectively. As a member of the United Nations Global Compact, HEPER has adopted and committed to upholding total ten principles related to human rights, labor standards, environmental protection, and anti-corruption.
Use of Renewable Energy
We are committed to reducing our carbon footprint and implementing environmentally friendly production processes by transitioning to renewable energy sources at our factory. Our solar energy system on the factory roof allows us to meet all our electricity needs with renewable energy.
Recycling and Sustainable Material Use
In our production processes, we implement effective waste management strategies to minimize the amount of waste generated. We continuously make improvements to increase the recyclability of our waste and develop innovative solutions to reduce environmental impact. By analyzing the materials currently used in our product manufacturing, and packaging we are transitioning to
recyclable materials to further minimize our environmental footprint. We are committed to minimizing plastic use in our production and operational processes. By opting for recyclable and environmentally friendly materials, we aim to reduce the negative impact of plastic waste on nature. We have minimized the plastic water bottle waste we use in our daily lives with the water purification systems in our factory.

Our approach to sustainability includes adopting circular economy principles, ensuring that our products and processes are as resource-efficient as possible.
When designing and manufacturing our products, we prioritize energy efficiency. By offering high-performance, low-energy consumption lighting solutions, we aim to reduce energy usage. At the same time, we use highquality materials and continuously improve our production processes to extend the lifespan and increase the durability of our products.
The modular design of our products allows lighting modules to be easily replaced, enabling the reuse of product bodies for many years. This modularity extends the lifespan of the products and reduces waste, promoting efficient use of resources. We continue to develop solutions that minimize environmental impact in our product designs and take innovative steps toward a sustainable future.
We aim to raise awareness about reducing light pollution and preserving the natural night environment. Through our Dark Sky advocacy, we promote proper lighting techniques and sustainable lighting solutions to help preserve the natural beauty of the night sky. With the events and projects we organize, we strive to raise awareness on this issue within the community.

We support the protection of coastal ecosystems and the safe navigation of sea turtles through responsible lighting practices. Turtle friendly lighting minimizes light pollution on nesting beaches, helping hatchlings find their way to the sea. With our design approach and product features that align with turtle-friendly guidelines, we aim to raise awareness and contribute to the conservation of marine life.
