DALI/DALI2

DALI stands for Digital Addressable Lighting Interface. It is a two-way open communication protocol that allows lighting to use a digital signal for more precise and flexible control.

Requirements:
In addition to the incoming power cable, an additional DALI cable needs to be wired to each luminaire.

0-10V

0-10V is an analogue control protocol. 0-10V control systems apply a voltage between 0 and 10 volts using direct current (DC) voltage to produce a varying intensity level.

Requirements:
Cable type and size are important and they should be considered as part of the 0-10V dimming scheme. In addition to the power cable, an additional 0-10V cable needs to be wired to each luminaire

StepDIM

StepDIM control systems operate by using a mains voltage signal, providing night-time dimming in a single stage. It is integrated into the power supply and operates on an additional control line.

Requirements:
In addition to the incoming power cable, an additional signal cable needs to be wired to each luminaire. The single stage should be set at the factory and there is no way to change it in the field.

AutoDIM

AutoDIM is an autonomous control system that works by programming the driver, without the need for any DIM line or feeder. It can also work at the brightness levels set at the specified hours with different stages. Stages can go up to five levels.

Requirements:
There is no need for separate cabling. Stages and levels should be set on the factory but it’s possible to change them on site with additional accessories.
